Our physicians and advanced-practice clinicians offer comprehensive services for complete women’s health, from preventative well-woman exams to specialized OB/GYN care. All of our clinicians provide gynecologic services. We address female functions and disorders, particularly those that affect the reproductive system.

National Breastfeeding Month is a time to celebrate the power of breastfeeding, the people who make it possible and the vital role of breastfeeding can play in community health.
According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, breast milk provides essential nutrients, is easy for babies to digest and can help protect babies from illness. Breastfeeding can also offer benefits for parents, including opportunities to bond with their baby, reduced formula costs and health benefits for the breastfeeding parent.
Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Clinic and Women’s Health teams include Certified Lactation Counselors (CLCs) who can provide education, guidance and support to help parents feel more confident throughout their breastfeeding journey. CLCs can answer questions about breast pumps and breast milk storage and offer tips for positioning, achieving a proper latch and more.
