Dr. Kristopher Schamber was born in Riverton and raised in Green River. He is board-certified in general internal medicine with a special interest in geriatric medicine and dementia care; he has been practicing medicine since 2011, and started at SMH in 2015. Kristopher knew from the time he was a child that he wanted to become a physician, due in large part to the inspiration of the small-town physician his mother worked with for years. Connecting with patients and their families is the best part of working in healthcare for Dr. Schamber, and he values being able to help his patients through difficult situations. When not at work, he can be found in the great outdoors fly fishing, hunting, camping, downhill skiing, mountain biking and trail running.
