About Katie Mischke
As Dr. Ulibarri’s physician assistant, Mischke delivers total joint care and operative procedure assistance, while ensuring clear communication between each patient and care provider. She brings more than eight years of experience focused on neurosurgery and spine care, improved patient functionality and quality of life.
Mischke attended Carroll College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences and played intramural basketball. While dedicating herself to diverse clinical experiences in orthopedics, she developed her love of spine medicine and was admitted to Rocky Mountain College, one of the region’s most rigorous physician assistant programs. After completing competitive rotations in orthopedics and dermatology, Mischke was directly recruited by St. Vincent Healthcare’s neurosurgery team in Billings, where she spent more than 14,000 clinical hours working with patients facing complex spine issues, scoliotic deformities, intradural spinal tumors and brain trauma.
Mischke is a Sheridan native who loves to hike, mountain bike and travel. With extended family here, she is thrilled to be back home and forge deeper connections with the community.
