Lindsay Capron, MD - New OBGYN
Lindsay Capron, MD will begin practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Sheridan Women’s Clinic on October 1, 2018. (The name Capron is pronounced with a long “a” as in “apron.") She joins Gregg McAdoo, MD, Rebecca Franklund, MD, Elizabeth Brown, MD, Lawrence Gill, MD, Tracy Jons, PA-C, Becky Olson, WHNP-C and Bridgette Baker, WHNP.
Dr. Capron is originally from Cody, Wyoming as is her husband, Nate, although the two of them did not meet until Lindsay’s first day on campus at the University of Wyoming. Nate works for an online marketing company, giving him the ability to work from virtually anywhere in the Country. The couple has a two and a half-year-old son.
When asked what they like to do in their free time, Dr. Capron smiles and says, “Well, before residency, we were big outdoors people. We loved to hike, bike, raft, and downhill snow ski. We hope to get back to enjoying those activities again once we get settled in.”
Dr. Capron, who comes across as a very down-to-earth kind of person, is the first in generations of family to become a physician. Since high school, she knew she was destined for a career in healthcare, specifically caring for women.
“Medical training has been a fun and challenging journey, and I’m excited to join a great group of providers in caring for women and girls of all ages,” says Dr. Capron. “Living in Sheridan with its vibrant culture and the amazing Bighorn Mountains is an added plus.”
